The documentation on the first round of EU-China NGO Exchange  “Twinning: Partnerships between Chinese and European NGOs: Green Financing – Rights to Clean Water – Human Rights – Urban Youth Culture – Social Inclusion” displays the results, synergies, and lessons learned, as well as the backgrounds and future perspectives of Sino-European NGO exchange and cooperation, and presents the on-site experiences of the Chinese and European NGO staff working on the above mentioned topics.

In 2013 the Stiftung Asienhaus supported by the Robert Bosch Stiftung created the first-of-its-kind EU-China NGO Twinning exchange program, laying the foundation for a vital and sustainable connection between China’s and Europe’s NGOs. Five Chinese and five European NGOs working on very diverse topics of civil society took part in the mutual exchange which foresees a several week long work-and-study stage at the partner organization in the respective other region.
