Language: The exchange program is conducted in English. Therefore participants and applying organizations should be able to communicate in English.
Expenses: Most associated costs (travel expenses, health insurance, visa application, accommodation and living expenses) will be covered by the organizers.
Part Time Work: During the time of exchange, the exchange fellows will still be able to work part time on their own organizations’ projects.
Preparation/Training: As preparation for the exchange fellows there will be workshops on civil society and practical questions about daily life in the country of the exchange destination. The participants will have the opportunity to take part in open events, discussions and debates on national and EU-level. The participants will be provided with a detailed manual which guides them through the program and helps them prepare for their stay in the respective country.
Documentation: The participants will be asked to regularly submit reports, photos or videos and presentations on their exchange project or their personal experience in the host organization/country. There will be regular news and reports on the Twinning on the organizers’ websites and Social Media accounts.
Additional Activities for the visiting exchange fellows organized by the host organization could include :
• Capacity building workshops or information events
• Bilingual thematic articles or reports to be published in European and Chinese media and online forums or blogs
• Exposure of Chinese and European fellows to events related to the work focus of the organizations.
