Stiftung Asienhaus

The German Asia Foundation was founded in 1992. It aims to promote a dialogue with the countries of Asia and to support the initiatives and organizations participating in it. The Foundation is politically and economically independent. It works in Europe as well as in Asia for human dignity, overcoming prejudices, the realization of social and economic justice, and against oppression. The Foundation is convinced this is in the public interest – both in Europe and in Asia.

In 2013, the German Asia Foundation changed into Stiftung Asienhaus. The China Program of the Stiftung Asienhaus focuses on civil society dialogue. It manages the Chinese-German translation blog project Stimmen aus China, engl. “Voices of China”.
