Andreea Leonte from Energy Justice Romania had already published several articles about her travels with Shenzhen Zero Waste on the website of EcoMagazin, an independent media project in Romania that focuses on the coverage of environmental issues and protection.
Earlier this year, she continued to publish an article with Foreign Policy. Although this article was not part of her work with Energy Justice Romania but resulted from her work at the Romanian Institute for the Study of the Asia-Pacific, it was nonetheless inspired by her time with Shenzhen Zero Waste. The contacts with other environmental organizations she established in China played an essential role in the researching and writing process.
