Climate change adaptation and environmental education
Climate change is accepted to be a basic fact in most areas, while the impact varies from region to region. People with different cultural settings and individual background hold different perspectives in the climate issue, which decided their adaptation actions and effectiveness. It is worth learning the influense factors to get better response in climate change, and also worth trying to get experiences by comparing different locations in different cultural settings and level of development.
About the Twinning organizations

Founded in 2007, Shanshui Conservation Center is a Chinese NGO dedicated to conservation practices. We focus our work on the areas of most abundant biodiversity: Sanjiangyuan, Southwestern Mountainous Areas and Lancang-Mekong River Basin. We’re going to fulfill ecological ideals through science and culture and recruit more nature guardians through our campaigns and actions.

Friends of the Earth Germany is a non-profit, non-partisan, and non-religious grassroots organization with more than 480,000 members and supporters. Organized into 2,200 local groups and initiatives, committed and skilled people take action against the destruction of nature and environment. Local groups develop the expansion of bicycle paths, they advise citizens on environmental topics, and contribute to shaping and conceiving future Agenda 21 strategies on the municipal level.
